The small village of ikot ankan, nestle in         the country side, the community consist of about 500 resident, ikot ankan faces several challenges. The village  boats a vibrant community center where locals gather for weekly events.   The center also house's a small library with a vast collection of books donated by villagers and nearby town. Resident take pride in their local produce, with many families growing their own fruit and vegetables in their backyards.  The village also own a small bakery, the cozy oven, which supplies freshly baked goods to the community. However, ikot ankan looks a grocery store, forcing residents to travel to the nearest town for essential like Mike and meats.
